You'll be working on:

  • Smoke control systems – primarily AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents), as well as more complex pressurisation systems (both positive and negative)
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works
  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts
  • Writing clear service and fault reports
  • Liaising with clients, site contacts, and internal service coordinators
  • Working both independently and occasionally as part of a small team

Who this would suit:

  • Someone with solid experience working on smoke ventilation systems (AOVs essential, pressurisation systems a strong bonus)
  • Confident with fault-finding, repairs, and small upgrades
  • Comfortable managing their own schedule and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills – both technical and customer-facing

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of AOVs, fans, dampers, control panels, and associated wiring
  • Experience with pressurisation systems – or a strong willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS or equivalent safety certifications desirable
