About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Small Works Security Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality installation, commissioning, upgrades, and minor project works across a range of security systems. You’ll work on commercial, industrial, and high-security sites, ensuring systems are installed to the highest standards and fully compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade and commission electronic security systems including CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.
- Carry out small works projects, remedial works and system modifications.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
- Work across networked and IP-based security systems.
- Produce thorough documentation, commissioning sheets and reports.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of works.
- Comply with all health & safety and site requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Valid ECS or CSCS card (Security/Systems discipline preferred).
- Fully qualified security engineer with relevant electrical or electronic engineering background.
- Strong IP/networking experience, including switches, VLANs, PoE and network configuration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
- Full UK driving licence.
