Purpose of the Role
To manage all financial and commercial aspects of allocated contracts and projects, ensuring costs are minimised and value recovery is maximised. The role also ensures that contracts are delivered on time, within budget, and to required specifications while aligning with the company’s procedures and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit valuations and applications for payment, ensuring timely certification.
- Lead cash collection efforts, including managing certifications and retention recovery.
- Collaborate with Project and Site Managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Produce ongoing cash flow forecasts in line with project progress and timelines.
- Maintain and update draft final accounts to keep clients informed of financial obligations.
- Create and manage accurate Cost to Complete assessments for all contracts, protecting margins.
- Ensure accurate contract records are kept, including digitising and storing key documents.
- Contribute to the team’s understanding of commercial aspects within the business.
