Project Manager – Fire & Security

Salary- £45,000 – £50,000

An established provider of fire and security solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead system installations and upgrades across commercial, industrial, and private sectors.

About the Role

You’ll manage projects from design through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee fire and security projects (design, installation, commissioning, handover)
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, teams, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with British Standards, health & safety, and company policies
• Manage budgets, timelines, procurement, and documentation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, and access control
• Good understanding of BS standards (e.g. BS 5839, BS EN 50131)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. FIA, CSCS, ECS, SSSTS/SMSTS)
• Project management certification (e.g. Prince2, PMP)
• Experience with AutoCAD or project management software

Experience

• 3+ years’ project management experience in fire/security or similar technical fields
