We are currently working with a well-established and forward-thinking organisation within the security sector to recruit an experienced Professional Services Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior-level engineer looking to play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting enterprise-scale security solutions. This position sits at the top tier of technical escalation within the business and will see you working closely with both clients and internal teams to resolve complex issues, support project delivery, and drive technical excellence across the organisation.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support across a range of integrated security systems, while also contributing to system design, commissioning, and ongoing performance optimisation. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor and play an important role in mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the resolution of complex technical faults across Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and integrated systems
- Provide high-level technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site
- Support project delivery through commissioning, system upgrades, and migrations
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers on system design and planning
- Conduct system audits, health checks, and performance reviews
- Mentor and support engineering teams, promoting best practice
- Build strong client relationships as a trusted technical specialist
Technology Exposure
You’ll gain hands‑on experience with leading platforms such as Genetec Security Center, Gallagher Command Centre, Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, Milestone, FLIR, Avigilon, and Hanwha.
About You
- Proven experience supporting and commissioning enterprise-level electronic security systems
- Strong knowledge of platforms such as Genetec, Gallagher, Lenel, CCURE, Milestone, Avigilon, FLIR, Hanwha (or similar)
- Solid technical understanding of Windows Server, SQL databases, IP networking, and virtual environments (VMware / Hyper‑V)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex integrated system issues
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Experience producing clear and professional technical documentation
- Full UK driving licence
