Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction and commercial opportunity.
  • Assist in researching new markets, customer needs, and potential business leads.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products and services, providing clear information and understanding of customer objectives.
  • Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and relevant documentation.
  • Provide helpful, reliable feedback and after sales support to clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Assist in developing new clients into long term accounts.
  • Contribute to realistic sales forecasts and updates for the Management Team.

  • Comfortable working independently at times, with support and guidance from the Area Sales Manager.
  • A positive, confident, and hard working attitude, with the drive to learn and exceed goals.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office; willingness to learn CRM and quoting software.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Good organisational skills, including time management and planning.
  • A willingness to develop commercial awareness and industry knowledge through training and hands on experience.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide clear, helpful advice.
