Our client, a well‑established and growing electronic security installer, is looking to recruit a Junior Project Manager to join their operations team covering South Yorkshire and parts of the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Project Engineer looking to take the next step into project management within a supportive environment offering structured training and long‑term career progression.
The role will initially be a hybrid hands‑on/project coordination position for the first 6–12 months, giving you the opportunity to develop your project management skills while still utilising your technical expertise in the field.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing small works security projects with an average value of approximately £10,000, overseeing projects from initial planning through to completion and client sign‑off. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the required standards. Alongside project coordination responsibilities, you will also support with final commissioning and handover of systems where required.
