Projects Coordinator
Location: Gillingham, Kent
We're working with a leading fire protection business seeking a Projects Coordinator to join its growing Sprinkler Projects team.
This is a key support role responsible for coordinating engineer schedules, managing project administration, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring works are delivered efficiently and on time. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and clients to support the successful delivery of projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule project works and engineer diaries.
- Manage diary changes, cancellations, and engineer availability.
- Allocate resources effectively based on skills and project requirements.
- Raise subcontractor work orders and issue client order acknowledgements.
- Support Project Managers in delivering projects to agreed KPIs and deadlines.
- Collect and process engineer timesheets and expenses.
- Assist with project documentation, including RAMS and document control.
- Review engineer worksheets and provide updates to clients and project teams.
- Support purchasing, invoicing, materials ordering, and delivery logging.
- Act as a key liaison between clients, engineers, and internal departments.
About You
- Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, or project support role.
- Strong diary management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Interest in developing knowledge within the fire protection industry.
