Fire Suppression Sales Engineer

Location: Devon

Salary: £55,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our presence in the fire suppression market, with a focus on gas suppression (e.g., FM-200, CO2) and water mist systems.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients, including architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers.
  • Actively promote our fire suppression solutions through direct sales, networking, and participation in industry events and trade shows.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Design and engineer fire suppression systems based on client requirements, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance on gas suppression and water mist systems, including recommendations for system type, components, layout, and installation.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that system designs are viable, cost-effective, and compliant with applicable standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine the optimal fire suppression solution for each project.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotations, and project plans to clients, explaining system designs, costs, and benefits.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, providing technical support, and managing the post-sales process.
  • Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing maintenance of systems.
