I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run electrical contractor with over 20 years' experience delivering high-quality installations across luxury retail, leisure, and aparthotel fit-outs. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget, working on premium commercial environments across Central London. They are known for their quality of work, attention to detail, and long-standing client relationships, with projects typically valued around £150k.
The Role
This is a mobile position, working five days a week across projects in and around Central London. You'll be involved in high-spec retail and commercial fit-outs where precision and quality are key. Working hours are 7:00 am–3:00 pm, based on a 10-hour paid day. This includes 8 hours on site and 2 hours paid travel time. There is no call-out rota associated with this role.
Location
You can be based in Haverhill, Central London, or anywhere between the two, with regular travel into Central London required. Please note, on-site parking is not provided for London-based work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical installations on high-end retail, leisure, and commercial fit-out projects
- Working from drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality results
- Supporting project delivery within fast-paced, design-led environments
- Maintaining strong health & safety standards on site
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (advantageous)
- Experience working on commercial or high-spec fit-out projects preferred
