As Electrical Contracts Manager, you will take full ownership of a flagship, multi-site electrical compliance contract. You’ll oversee end-to-end operational delivery across the South-West region (including Bristol, Swindon, Exeter, Gloucester, Cardiff and Reading), ensuring EICRs, PAT testing, thermal imaging and reactive works are delivered safely, compliantly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contract & Customer Ownership:
- Own the day-to-day management of a large, multi-site electrical compliance contract.
- Lead contract reviews, service performance meetings and issue resolution.
- Translate customer requirements into clear service plans, priorities and standards.
- Plan, schedule and oversee delivery of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Thermal imaging inspections, reactive electrical call-outs and remedials.
- Ensure all works are delivered right-first-time, on schedule and within agreed SLAs.
- Ensure emergency and priority call-outs are triaged and handled effectively.
- Ensure all works comply with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), HSE requirements and relevant statutory regulations.
- Uphold company quality, safety and audit standards at all times.
- Review EICRs, remedial recommendations and reports for accuracy, quality and defensibility.
- Manage contract P&L performance, including labour utilisation, subcontractor spend and reactive cost control.
- Work with commercial teams to price additional works, remedials and variations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Compliance Manager, Electrical Service Manager or similar in a commercial or compliance-led environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of EICRs, PAT Testing, Electrical remedials and reactive works.
- Experience managing high-volume, multi-site service contracts.
- Confident customer-facing operator, able to handle escalations and difficult conversations.
- Good commercial awareness with a clear focus on cost control and profitability.
- Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition (BS 7671).
- Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
Work Pattern:
- Office based role with regular travel to sites across the Southwest.
- Full-time, predominantly field and site-based with regular customer and office visits.
- Regular travel across the contract portfolio; occasional overnight stays may be required depending on workload and site locations.
