Commercial Maintenance Plumber (Legionella / Installer)

A well-established and rapidly growing commercial building services and maintenance provider is seeking an experienced
Commercial Plumber / Installer
with strong skills in plumbing systems, water hygiene, and Legionella compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, follows strict safety standards, and delivers excellent service to commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing and heating systems
• Work on hot & cold-water systems, sanitary ware, pipework, pumps, valves, and associated plant
• Carry out water hygiene tasks, including temperature monitoring and maintenance activities
• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, building standards, and water hygiene requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and certification
• Communicate professionally with clients and site teams

Skills & Experience Required

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Legionella Control / Awareness
• Strong background in commercial plumbing and operational buildings
• Experience with copper & plastic pipework, removal of dead legs, and system installations
• Knowledge of planned and remedial maintenance, including TMV servicing
• Unvented hot water qualification
• Excellent fault-finding & problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to pass a DBS check
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Gas Safe (commercial or domestic)
• Electrical knowledge
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings / schematics
