We’re looking for a detail-driven CCTV Commissioning Engineer to join a highly skilled team delivering integrated security solutions across commercial and industrial projects nationwide. If you have strong commissioning experience and a solid grasp of current CCTV technologies and standards, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Commission and hand over CCTV systems, ensuring functionality aligns with design specifications and drawings
- Work with a variety of platforms including IP-based, analogue, hybrid, and wireless solutions
- Integrate CCTV systems with other security systems (e.g., intruder alarms, access control) where required
- Identify and address project risks or delays, communicating issues proactively
- Conduct on-site demonstrations and training for end users as part of the handover process
- Complete all compliance-related documentation and electronic records accurately (via tablet)
- Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and H&S policies
- Undertake training to stay current with product updates and regulatory changes
- Handle and protect sensitive customer data and system information appropriately
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in CCTV system commissioning across a variety of commercial/industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of system design, network configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with platforms such as Hikvision, Avigilon, Axis, Dahua, Honeywell, Pelco , etc.
- Experience in programming and configuring recording, analytics, and remote access settings
- Understanding of BS EN 62676 and related surveillance standards
- Good knowledge of health & safety practices and site safety protocols
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and deliver to tight deadlines
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (overnight stays may be required)
