We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Service Engineer to service and maintain fire and security systems across North Yorkshire. If you have a strong background in fire alarm and security system servicing, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and test fire alarm and security systems in line with industry standards.
- Ensure all installations and maintenance work comply with BS5839, BS4737, and other relevant fire & security regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, ensuring systems remain fully operational.
- Complete necessary documentation (commissioning certificates, reports, timesheets) in line with industry and NSI requirements.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in servicing for fire alarm and security systems.
- Strong knowledge of BS5839, BS4737, and best practices in fire & security system servicing.
- Ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within North Yorkshire.
- Experience with networked or addressable fire alarm and security systems.
- Familiarity with leading fire & security brands and integration methods.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, delivering training and support.
