We are recruiting for a leading company based in Birmingham, looking for a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join their local team. This role will involve supporting customer communications, assisting the management team, and ensuring that all lifting equipment operates safely and reliably within the Housing business unit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service calls and repairs within the contractual time frame.
  • Support and co-operate with colleagues across the company in a positive, helpful, and respectful manner.
  • Adhere fully to the company's field objectives and reporting systems.
  • Maintain and service lifting equipment, including (but not limited to) lifts, platform units, and hoists.
  • Complete work in real time using Field Link.
  • Undertake any additional field engineering duties as required.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Work in accordance with established Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements.
  • Set a personal example of safe behaviour and contribute to the company's safety objectives by maintaining and monitoring safety systems and implementing agreed changes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, or repairs is preferred.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in lift maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels (client, service leader, inspectors).
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and assisting when required.
  • Proactive in identifying and prioritising workload.
  • Reliable and committed to delivering on responsibilities.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to plan departmental requirements.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
