About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead the strategy, development, and scaling of a global supplier ecosystem that delivers high-value Off-the-Shelf (OTS) AI datasets for Large Multimodal Models (LMMs), Physical AI, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and Embodied AI.
This role combines business development, vendor management, program delivery, commercial strategy, and operational excellence to build a world-class data supply network.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand a global network of specialized data suppliers, research organizations, production studios, robotics labs, and regional partners.
- Lead vendor sourcing, qualification, onboarding, governance, and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the OTS dataset portfolio, including acquisition, quality, licensing, documentation, and inventory.
- Oversee global AI data collection programs, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery across distributed partners.
- Establish scalable operating procedures and quality control frameworks for multimodal and physical AI data collection.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to automate supplier onboarding, compliance, quality evaluation, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Engineering to develop pricing strategies, commercial models, and delivery plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in global operations, vendor management, supplier ecosystems, or AI data supply chains.
- Proven experience managing large-scale AI data collection or complex global operations.
- Strong understanding of Multimodal AI datasets, Physical AI, Robotics, or related AI technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, commercial negotiation, and program management skills.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams and building scalable operational processes.
