Care for the forest that cares for our guests. As a Forest Ranger, you'll help keep our woodland safe, healthy and full of life - from maintaining footpaths to protecting wildlife habitats and waterways.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintaining forest and landscaped areas
- Operating specialist tools and machinery
- Supporting conservation and seasonal forestry work
- Work outdoors in all seasons and all weathers

Your working hours:
- Full-time contract, with shifts falling between 7am and 7pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period.
- You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- You may also be required to participate in the department's call-out rota as required
About you:
- NVQ Level 2 in horticulture / forestry (or equivalent experience)
- Comfortable outdoors in all weathers
- Knowledge of tools and safety procedures
- Full driving licence (held for a minimum of 6 months)
