Keep guests smiling and safe. As a Lifeguard in our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, you'll help create a safe and welcoming experience for every guest. You'll uphold the highest health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest care.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Provide a friendly, professional service and assist guests with their needs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal health and safety requirements.
- Work effectively in hot and humid conditions (our Subtropical Swimming Paradise is heated to 29.5°C year-round).
To be a lifeguard, you must:
- Be a strong swimmer and pass a swim test during the interview, which includes diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance.

Your working hours:
- Part-time. You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 48-128 hours over a 4-week period.
- You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements.
- This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
About you:
- RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification.
- Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds and completed 20 hours of continued professional development.
- Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure.
- Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues.
Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
