Keep guests smiling and safe. As a Lifeguard in our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, you'll help create a safe and welcoming experience for every guest. You'll uphold the highest health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest care.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitor pool areas, ensuring guest safety and responding to emergencies
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards
- Complete NPLQ training and demonstrate rescue and first aid skills
To be a Lifeguard, you must be a strong swimmer and pass a swim test during the interview, which includes diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance. Trainee Lifeguards must attend a 5‑day NPLQ course. Employment is subject to passing the course. The course includes classroom sessions on Lifeguard responsibilities, observing pool guests, performing rescues and administering first aid and CPR.

Your working hours:
- Full-time and part-time contracts available, shifts fall between 6:00am and 10:00pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum amount of hours over a 4‑week period.
- You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
About you:
- RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification and completed 20-hours of continued professional development (Qualified Lifeguards only)
- Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds
- Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure
- Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
