The Pancake House offers sweet and savoury Dutch-style pancakes in a relaxed, family-friendly spot. We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our friendly team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and progress while supporting the preparation, cooking and presentation of high-quality dishes. Full training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a willingness to develop are key.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and work effectively as part of a team
- Follow health, safety and food hygiene guidelines

Your working hours:
- This is a fixed-term contract until 2nd July 2027
- Full-time, shifts fall between 7:00am and 5:15pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period
- You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes early mornings and weekends
