We're looking for a Workforce Management System Specialist to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Workforce Systems & Data Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and accuracy of our workforce management system. You'll help ensure data integrity, produce insightful reports, and contribute to continuous improvements in workforce planning. You'll also support key productivity initiatives, including projects such as the implementation of advanced scheduling into the business.
Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting the maintenance and accuracy of labour models and workforce data
- Assisting in the production of accurate and timely workforce and operational reports
- Communicating clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities within workforce planning
- Ensuring adherence to workforce management processes, policies, and system standards
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm. Please note, this role will be hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days home-working.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with advanced knowledge required.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret, and report on performance data. Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Workforce Management Systems: Some experience with WFM platforms and workforce optimisation.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset and Commercial Awareness
Desirable requirements:
- Project Management: Involvement in project management implementation, supporting projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with time studies, pace rating, and industrial engineering or be prepared to be trained in Methods Time Measurement (MTM).
- Experience in labour productivity management, operational analysis, or a related field.
