From fixing faults to replacing items, joining our Technical Services team means you can be a superhero for families during their break. The dedicated team provide a speedy response to any service breakdown while delivering excellent care, so our guests can relax knowing they're being taken care of.

We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician (Gas and Heating) to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you will attend call outs to guest accommodation as well as general buildings around the village. You will carry out tasks to resolve maintenance issues, reporting any defects or issues which may cause future problems. Other responsibilities will include undertaking inspections, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with any other general work as briefed by Technical Services Management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills as you will regularly come into contact with both colleagues and guests. Trade experience is essential for this role as technical knowledge will be required.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your shifts are 8am - 6.30pm and 11.30am - 10pm on a 4 week rota including 2 out of 4 weekends. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis. During the late shift you will be required to be 'on call' for any issues that may arise during out of hours working.

Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • A current Gas Safe qualification
  • One of the following qualifications; NVQ or SVQ in Engineering Maintenance and Installation in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Level 2 & 3
  • Previous trade experience in the relevant technical field
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable requirements:

  • Refrigeration and air conditioning experience
