The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 £ per hour.

Keep guests smiling and safe. As a Lifeguard in our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, you'll help create a safe and welcoming experience for every guest. You'll uphold the highest health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest care.

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Provide a friendly, professional service and assist guests with their needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal health and safety requirements.
  • Work effectively in hot and humid conditions (our Subtropical Swimming Paradise is heated to 29.5°C year-round).

To be a lifeguard, you must be a strong swimmer and pass a swim test during the interview, which includes diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance.

Your working hours:

  • Part-time.
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 48-128 over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements.
  • This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

About you:

  • RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification.
  • Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds and completed 20-hours of continued professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure.
  • Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues.

Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
