What you'll be doing
- Monitor pool areas, ensuring guest safety and responding to emergencies.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards.
- Complete NPLQ training and demonstrate rescue and first aid skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong swimmer and success in a swim test during the interview, including diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance.
- RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification and completed 20-hours of continued professional development.
- Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds.
- Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure.
- Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues.
- Compliance with a DBS check before starting.

Working Hours
Full‑time and part‑time contracts available. Shifts fall between 6:00am and 10:00pm. You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum amount of hours over a four‑week period and may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements. This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
