At Center Parcs, all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectations. Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to lodges and treehouses, and looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. Responsibilities
- Carrying out general cleaning duties of the public and staff areas, including restaurants, toilets, shops and office spaces.
- Using industrial cleaning equipment, replenishing toiletries and reporting any defects.
- Contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis.
- Working hours will be 5am to 9am and will include working weekdays and alternate weekends.
- Working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
Desired qualities & skills
- Good communication skills – confident to talk to guests and your colleagues.
- An awareness of general standards of cleanliness and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic technology literacy (for example, use of tablets, apps, smartphone functions).
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
