From fixing faults to replacing items, joining our Technical Services team means you can be a superhero for families during their break. The dedicated team provide a speedy response to any service breakdown while delivering excellent care, so our guests can relax knowing they’re being taken care of.
We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician / Electrician to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you will attend call outs to guest accommodation as well as general buildings around the Village. You will carry out tasks to resolve maintenance issues, reporting any defects or issues which may cause future problems.
Other responsibilities will include undertaking inspections, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with any other general work as briefed by Technical Services Management.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills as you will regularly come into contact with both colleagues and guests. Trade experience is essential as technical knowledge will be required.
Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longleat (BA12 7PU) Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
About You
Essential requirements:
- Previous trade experience is required i.e. electrical or mechanical as you will also carry out maintenance duties connected with other trades
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Level 3 C&G equivalent NVQ or SVQ qualification in Electrical Installation Theory & Practice
- C&G 2381/2 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
