Security Officer
£13.81 per hour
From initial greeting through to departure our professionally trained security team are here to help. They control access to the village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay. We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year‑round provides peace of mind and reassurance.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests, visitors, and colleagues to the village daily
- Carrying out vehicle, cycle, and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checks
- Escorting colleagues moving high volume items across the village
- Responding to emergencies, liaising with emergency services, and writing incident reports
Essential Requirements
- Good communication skills, both orally and written
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Good knowledge of IT systems
- Friendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guests
- Full driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- SIA Door Supervisor licence and first‑aid qualification or willingness to undertake training

Hours of Work
Contracted to work 168 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis. Shifts are 12 hours, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am. The village is open 365 days a year, so working hours may include weekends, public/bank holidays and during Christmas/New Year on a rota basis.
Commute
You must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longleat Forest (BA12 7PU). Public transport is not easily accessible; if you plan to use it, please review the link for a realistic overview of your commute: Plan Your Journey.
