The Pottery Studio provides activities for adults and children. In this role, you will offer guidance and support on ceramic painting while maintaining a safe and efficient environment. Excellent customer service skills are required to ensure guest requirements are met and opportunities to exceed expectations are sought.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support on ceramic painting to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the studio.
- Glaze pots within agreed timescales.
- Multitask and oversee busy activities in a bustling environment.
- Ensure safety and efficient operation of the studio.
Essential Requirements
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and guests.
- Strong communication skills.
- Naturally cheerful disposition.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of kilns and ability to load, unload and operate them.
- Experience within the leisure industry.
- Previous pottery experience with current ceramic techniques.
Hours
Part‑time and full‑time contracts available on a flexible basis. Hours may vary week to week, but contracted hours will always be paid. Working days include public/bank holidays and rostered periods during Christmas and New Year.
