Join our Food & Beverage department at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest (CA10 2DW). The Kitchen Team Leader / Chef de Partie will oversee daily kitchen operations, coaching junior staff, and ensuring high-standard food preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and present food to company standards.
  • Provide general supervision and coaching to junior staff.
  • Deputise for the Assistant Kitchen Manager when absent.
  • Assist in cost-of-sales management through ordering system, stock and portion control.
  • Minimise food wastage and monitor kitchen hygiene.

Hours & Pay

Contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Schedule is variable and may include public/cash holidays, Christmas and New Year rotations.

Requirements

  • Build relationships with colleagues.
  • Previous kitchen experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, patient, friendly, professional and calm under pressure.
  • Experience with ordering and stock control (desirable).
