Overview

Outdoor Activity Instructor at Center Parcs UK & Ireland. The role involves coaching and supervising guests to ensure a fun, action-packed and memorable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and organise a wide range of activities and maintain the equipment on site
  • Carry out safety checks in accordance with company guidelines
  • Keep the Outdoor Activity Centre clean and present a professional image to guests
  • Coach guests across activities such as Segway Experience, Quad Bike Safari, Off-Road Explorers, Laser Combat

Hours of Work

You will be contracted to work 96 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Working days/hours may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. The village is open 365 days a year, so hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.

About You

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Emergency First Aid at Work (training can be provided)
  • Sociably confident with an outgoing, cheerful nature
  • Physically capable to meet the demands of the role
  • Works well in a team
  • Must be aged 18 years or over

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within the leisure / customer service industry
  • Experience of outdoor sports activities
