The predicted salary is between 30000 - 32000 £ per year.

Sherwood Forest | £15.05 per hour plus tips. All colleagues working in the following restaurants: Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Foresters' Inn and Vitalé Café Bar will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.

Join our team as a Kitchen Team Leader / Chef de Partie, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You'll lead and develop junior staff, maintain standards and support management in driving efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily food preparation and presentation to company standards
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues to support their growth
  • Act as deputy for the Assistant Kitchen Manager when required
  • Monitor stock, portion control and ordering to manage costs effectively
  • Implement measures to reduce food waste and maintain operational efficiency

Your working hours

  • Full-time, shifts fall between 12:00pm and 10:30pm
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period.
  • You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
  • This role includes working weekends on a rota basis

  • Excellent communicator with ability to build relationships with colleagues
  • Previous kitchen experience in a similar position
  • Naturally cheerful, patient and friendly
  • Professional, approachable and calm under pressure
