A range of quality own‑brand and high‑street restaurants and cafés combined with great food, family‑friendly menus and excellent service make up our Food and Beverage department. Around each village, this department employs about 350 team members across nine different restaurants, cafés, bars and a production kitchen, plus five concessionary units such as Bella Italia and Café Rouge.
This role is based at Center Parcs Whinfell Forest. All colleagues working in the following restaurants – Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Foresters' Inn and Vitalé Café Bar – benefit from the discretionary service charge that we add to bills, allowing guests to reward excellent service.
The Kitchen Team Leader (Chef de Partie) will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food to agreed company standards. You will provide general supervision and coaching to all junior staff, ensuring their personal development, and deputise for the Assistant Kitchen Manager in their absence. Additional responsibilities include managing the cost of sales for your unit through effective use of the company ordering system, stock and portion control, and minimising food waste.
Hours of Work
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis. Shifts will fall between 08:00 and 23:00, and will include weekends, public and bank holidays, as well as rota work on Christmas and New Year. The village is open 365 days a year.
