The Pancake House offers sweet and savoury Dutch‑style pancakes in a relaxed, family‑friendly spot. We're seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our friendly The Pancake House team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and progress while supporting the preparation, cooking and presentation of high‑quality dishes. Full training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a willingness to develop are key.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Follow health, safety and food hygiene guidelines.

Your working hours:

The Pancake House is open 7 days a week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Full‑time contract, with shifts falling between 7:30 am and 5 pm. You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements. This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
