Huck's American Bar and Grill brings bold, flavour-packed American dishes and a warm welcome. Serve up the flavour that turns a good break into a great one. We’re seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our friendly team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and progress while supporting the preparation, cooking and presentation of high‑quality dishes. Full training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a willingness to develop are key.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and work effectively as part of a team
- Follow health, safety and food hygiene guidelines

Your working hours:
- Huck's American Bar and Grill is open 7 days a week from 4pm to 10pm
- Part‑time contract, with shifts falling between 11am and 11pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 80 hours over a 4‑week period; you may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays
