At Center Parcs, all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectations. Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses, and looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. Join our Housekeeping team today and ensure families can enjoy quality time together in the comfort of their accommodation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Housekeeping team working in the busy, fast-paced environment of our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, Aqua Sana Forest Spa and public/colleague areas, including leisure facilities, restaurants, toilets, shops and office spaces. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the changing rooms, patrolling and cleaning the village guest areas and welcoming guests into the Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

The ideal candidate will ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is achieved and maintained across all areas, have a good eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Please note that this role will involve you working in hot/humid conditions as our Subtropical Swimming Paradise is heated to 29.5C all year round.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence. Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longleat Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport.

HOURS OF WORK

We have the following contracts available on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

  • Mornings - 80 hours per 4-week period - These shifts will fall between 6am and 10am and alternative weekends
  • Evenings - 80 hours per 4-week period - These shifts will fall between 8pm and 12am and alternative weekends

Please state your desired contracted hours from the options above under the suitability section of your application form. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

  • An awareness of general standards of cleanliness and a keen eye for detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic technology literacy (for example, use of tablets, apps, smart phone functions)
  • Works well with others in a team
  • Must be aged 18 years or over (for shifts that finish after 10pm)

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience in the cleaning industry
  • Customer service experience within the hospitality industry
