Join our team as an Assistant Kitchen Manager, supporting the Kitchen Manager in delivering exceptional food quality and service. You'll help lead the kitchen team, ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain operational efficiency within budget.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in managing the kitchen team and daily operations
- Control food costs and margins to meet budget targets
- Maintain high food quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and prepare dishes to agreed standards

Your working hours:
- Full‑time contract, shifts fall between 10:00am and 11:30pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period.
- You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays
About you:
- Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team in a fast‑paced environment
- Good financial awareness, including stock control, scheduling and waste management
- Previous experience in a supervisory chef role (Chef de Partie or above)
- Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills under pressure
