Role Overview

Reporting to the Workforce Systems & Data Manager, you will support the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and accuracy of the workforce management system. Your role will involve ensuring data integrity, producing insightful reports and contributing to continuous improvements in workforce planning. You will also support key productivity initiatives, including projects such as the implementation of advanced scheduling into the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of labour models and workforce data
  • Assist in the production of accurate and timely workforce and operational reports
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities within workforce planning
  • Ensure adherence to workforce management processes, policies and system standards

Hours of Work

Contracted to work 150 hours per 4‑week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Dynamic working is available, allowing an earliest start time of 7 am and a latest finish time of 7 pm. The role is hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days home‑working.

Essential Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; advanced knowledge required.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse, interpret and report on performance data; highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Capable of working cross‑functionally and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Workforce Management Systems: Some experience with WFM platforms and workforce optimisation.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset and Commercial Awareness.
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to analyse, interpret and report performance data.
  • Able to identify and design initial concepts, define and manage methodologies and solutions.
  • Able to deal with challenges constructively and act as a change champion.
  • Understanding and applying measured work standards.

Desirable Requirements

  • Project Management experience or involvement in implementation projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with time studies, pace rating and industrial engineering, or readiness to be trained in Methods Time Measurement (MTM).
  • Experience in labour productivity management, operational analysis or a related field.
