As a Lifeguard in our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, you'll help create a safe and welcoming experience for every guest.

You'll uphold the highest health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest care.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Monitor pool areas, ensuring guest safety and responding to emergencies
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards
  • Complete NPLQ training and demonstrate rescue and first aid skills

To be a Lifeguard, you must be a strong swimmer and pass a swim test during the interview, which includes diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance.

Trainee Lifeguards must attend a 5‑day NPLQ course.

Employment is subject to passing the course.

The course includes classroom sessions on Lifeguard responsibilities, observing pool guests, performing rescues and administering first aid and CPR.

  • Full‑time and part‑time contracts available, shifts fall between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum amount of hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
  • This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you

  • RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification and completed 20‑hours of continued professional development (Qualified Lifeguards only)
  • Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds
  • Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure
  • Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues

Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
