Equity-based founding role | Remote | Early-stage psychology & AI venture

We’re building a new kind of platform at the intersection of psychology, AI, and digital health - a global hub where scientifically validated self-assessments, coaching tools, and professional support come together in one seamless experience.

We’re looking for a Technical Co-Founder to take the reins on the engineering side - shaping the product, leading development, and scaling the architecture toward multi-tenant B2B APIs and AI-powered psychometrics.

What You’ll Build

You’ll own the architecture, delivery, and early team formation for three interlinked products:

  • B2C Assessments Hub – Instant, evidence-based psychological self-tests with premium reports.
  • B2B Psychometrics API – White-label, pay-per-use API for organizations, therapists, and EdTech partners.
  • TherapistOS + Directory – Lightweight operating system for therapists: scheduling, reports, and secure client tools.

We’re also laying the groundwork for an AI “Scale Factory” — generating and validating new psychometric instruments.

What We’re Looking For

A builder who thrives in the 0→1 phase and wants to own product and tech from the ground up.

You might be a fit if you have:

  • 5+ years’ experience across full-stack or product engineering (Next.js / React / Node / TypeScript).
  • Proven ability to ship fast, securely, and cleanly (serverless, CI/CD, privacy-by-design).
  • Experience or interest in AI agents, LLMs, or data-driven personalization.
  • Curiosity about behavioral science, psychology, or digital well-being tools.
  • Startup mindset: collaborative, accountable, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity.

What We Offer

  • Equity: 10-20% in our UK-based entity (4-year vesting, milestone-based).
  • Monthly stipend (optional): €1,000 during first 12 months (founder-stage rate).
  • Clear milestones tied to product delivery and equity unlocks.
  • Freedom to build remotely, with full creative and technical autonomy.

Our Current Stack

Next.js 15 (App Router) | TypeScript | Tailwind | Prisma 6 | Supabase (Postgres) | Stripe | Resend | Vercel (serverless) | Playwright | GA4/Plausible.

About the Founder

You’ll be working alongside a psychometrics expert with 20+ years of experience in international psychological and educational research. The vision is to democratize access to high-quality, science-based psychological tools — combining rigorous psychometrics with ethical AI.

How to Apply

Send a short note or portfolio link (GitHub / Wellfound / LinkedIn) highlighting projects that show you can build and ship fast.

Optional: include links to anything you’ve created with Next.js, AI, or data-heavy APIs.

Target start: within the next 4 weeks.

Screening: short intro call → paid micro-build → equity offer.
