Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Sponsor Sales role for B2B conferences, based in Hertfordshire (SG128HN) with flexibility to work from home part of the time.
The Sponsorship Sales professional will identify and qualify potential sponsor organizations, conduct outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings, and build long-term relationships with senior‑level stakeholders in financial services and related industries.
Responsibilities include understanding each conference’s value proposition, creating tailored sponsorship packages, preparing proposals, and negotiating agreements to meet revenue targets.
The role involves close collaboration with marketing, production, and operations teams to align sponsorship offerings with event content and audience needs, as well as maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and providing regular sales reporting and market feedback.
The individual will also research market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and contribute ideas to enhance sponsor engagement and retention.

Qualifications

- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage senior professionals and decision‑makers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort with hybrid working arrangements and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to research and understand event themes and market trends to align sponsorship solutions with client needs.
- Experience using CRM and sales productivity tools to manage pipelines and forecast accurately.
