We are looking for a Senior Content & Engagement Coordinator to join the LawCareers.Net (LCN) brand within the Legal Careers Group. Working with the content team, you will be responsible for coordinating written and paid-for content for all websites, publications and marketing materials. You will contribute to the planning of LawCareers.Net's content output, marketing emails, social media and events delivery. You will also build and maintain relationships with key contacts and work with all team members to ensure that LCN maintains its market leading position. The LawCareers.Net suite of products and events provide essential resources for anyone interested in embarking on a career in the legal profession. Our products serve aspiring lawyers at all stages, from guides for school students providing basic information about the routes into law, including legal apprenticeships, to comprehensive information and advice services for university graduates seeking entry to the solicitors’ and barristers’ professions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate paid‑for content (eg, Meet the Lawyer, Meet the Recruiter and Practice Area Profiles) and source regular new content from volunteer contributors.
  • Source, coordinate and create new content of all media forms for the LCN website, publications, social media and promotional emails.
  • Coordinate and own paid‑for hub content (eg, commercial awareness hub).
  • Coordinate production and distribution of The Beginner’s Guide to a Career in Law and The Law Apprenticeships Guide.
  • Coordinate LCN’s video and podcast schedule.
  • Use Mailchimp to create LCN Weekly newsletter and mailers and coordinate mailer schedule.
  • Assist Content Manager/Head of Content with planning for future editorial content and yearly site reviews.
  • Assist with LCG’s social media activities and other online marketing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts such as lawyers, recruiters and careers advisers.
  • [Where applicable] Interview firms and other representatives for online profiles, videos and podcasts, and coordinate with contributing firms and other external contributors.
  • [Where applicable] Host presentations, masterclasses and panel events on legal and practice area topics.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Detail oriented, highly organised and ability to work under pressure.
  • Confidence in networking and meeting clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • An interest in developing an understanding of the UK legal profession, and particularly legal graduate recruitment.
