We are seeking a Project Manager to join our newly established and growing Programme Management Office (PMO), a team at the centre of delivering business-critical change. This is a hands-on role focused on driving the successful delivery of projects that underpin our value creation plan. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio, from operating model and operational improvements to product launches, marketing initiatives, and system implementations, helping to turn strategic priorities into tangible outcomes.

As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering individual projects and programmes of work, managing them from planning through to completion. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget, applying strong governance and problem-solving skills throughout. Working closely with senior sponsors and stakeholders, you’ll keep workstreams moving, remove blockers, and maintain momentum. This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll be at the forefront of making change happen across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure ideas and goals are translated into meaningful, actionable project plans.
  • Work with a project group from across the business and ensure delivery of critical developments.
  • Deliver critical change programmes and strategic projects that drive business transformation.
  • Manage projects across diverse business areas.
  • Partner with senior management and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business change.
  • Provide clear governance, reporting, and updates on progress against key milestones.
  • Maintain control over scope, requirements, timelines, risks and decisions ensuring projects meet or exceed specifications.
  • Embed strong project management techniques and standards across all initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and project teams.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to create and adapt project plans to meet changing needs and priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience in change management and delivering projects that impact multiple business areas.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive projects with minimal guidance.
  • Ideally, experience working within information services or digital subscription businesses.
