Job Title: Multi Drop Van Driver
Location: East Grinstead
Hours per week: 38hrs, Monday to Friday, with overtime available up to 48hr.

Job Summary
This role is a multi-drop delivery driver role and the person will be responsible for delivering company products to the customer in a safe and timely manner.
You’ll be a representative of the company and be one of the first point of contacts for our customers, so a high standard of customer care must be maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
- To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
- To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
- To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work.
- To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
- To check all orders shown on the drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle.
- To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by the branch management.
- Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for Haz Chems.
- To always maintain a smart appearance.
- To help maintain good customer relations.
- To be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by the Management.
- Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
Skills Knowledge and Experience required
- Essential A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven Whilst we do not ask for a clean license, we will assess the risk of employing applicants who have points on their license, and this may affect our decision to shortlist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Customer care
- Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy
- Desirable Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable
- Route planning experience
