The Role
Square is looking for high‑energy, motivated professionals with sound business insight and natural sales instincts. You will join our team to help build our Sales Development organisation, laying the foundation of this effort through outbound outreach and promoting the value of Square for prospective sellers. As the first line of contact, you will understand the diverse needs of our merchants, become an expert in the products and services that enable them to grow with the Square ecosystem, and use your convincing personality to improve success rates. You will document and track qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team, and apply a data‑driven approach to outbound prospecting via email, calling, and social selling. This position is the starting point for many growth opportunities within the Square team, offering clear career progression and the ability to increase earnings through internal development.
You Will
- Manage a diverse pipeline of businesses and prioritise outreach to accelerate sales cycles
- Reach out to businesses in your pipeline at scale through cold calling, emailing and social selling
- Promote urgency through a solutions‑based sales approach, identifying challenges with businesses and providing targeted value around how Square can help
