Overview

Pay: £25,000. Full time. On site parking. We are looking to recruit new enthusiastic and energetic Gardening Assistant to work alongside the Head Gardener to maintain private grounds (26 Acres).

Responsibilities

  • Perform Garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and watering.
  • Assist in the growing and nurturing of plants, flowers, and trees.
  • Operate electric power tools and hand tools for garden maintenance.
  • Lawn care.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
  • A strong understanding of plant care, growing conditions, and garden design principles is beneficial.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
  • Good physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve lifting and manual labour.
  • Driving Licence (required).
