Responsibilities
- Provide CAD support to the Geospatial team, highly proficient in CAD‑based software to aid with the production of detailed dimensional plans, elevations, sections & survey drawings for Topographical & Terrain Surveys, Measured Buildings, Underground Utilities, Earthworks & Volumetric Survey Analysis, Photogrammetry & Drone Data, and Point Cloud Data from Laser Scanning / Aerial Mapping.
- Provide drafted survey data and accurately produce survey drawings to present to clients or designers.
- Ensure drawings comply with company policies & Gridmark QA procedures.
- Liaise with other CAD/survey/design team members.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the civil engineering & construction industry.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new surveying software.
- Produce or amend drawings accurately and efficiently according to the specification brief.
- Support continuous improvement.
- Ensure drawings are clear, consistent and accurate.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 quality standards and processes by ensuring all drawings are saved in correct locations, correctly numbered and procedures followed.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1–2 years’ experience ideally.
- Industry background: Geospatial / Land / Civil / Architectural / Highways.
- Drawing experience of Geospatial / Land / Civil / Architectural / Highways.
- Experience with drainage / water system designs / MEP AutoCAD & N4CE (essential), Civil 3D & Revit.
- Experience of applying CAD Standards / Quality Standards.
