Looking for a rewarding role where you can have fun, build genuine connections, and make a lasting impact on children’s lives? Located within the vibrant St Francis Xavier School community, our OSHC service provides Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 90 children. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to foster meaningful relationships with children and families, deliver enriching experiences, and contribute to a positive and welcoming community where every day brings something new.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children and families
  • Support engaging play-based activities and experiences
  • Encourage children's ideas, interests and creativity
  • Promote children's wellbeing, confidence and development
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive and passionate team
  • Help create an environment where every child feels welcome and included

Job Requirements:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, or be currently working towards one
  • A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Completed, or be willing to complete, mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning)
  • A genuine passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment
  • Experience in OSHC, education, recreation or care is highly regarded, but not essential
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • A caring, enthusiastic and team-focused attitude
