About our Service:
Good Shepherd is a purpose-built centre offering Long Day Care, Kindergarten, and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). Our service is licensed for up to 263 children and features:
- Dedicated music and art rooms
- A strong emphasis on creativity, exploration, and curiosity

Our environments are designed to inspire and nurture children’s development, while supporting educators to deliver meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
About the Role:
This is a casual position offering flexible hours across our different services. You\’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups and grow your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning, wellbeing, and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Create engaging, safe, and supportive environments
- Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Job Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
