We are looking to recruit a ATM Test Analyst to join our busy and fast-paced Professional Services & Software Development Team supporting our banking and retail customers through their project lifecycle.
The ATM Test Analyst will be responsible for the planning, execution and completion of test delivery projects for Cennox clients. Your duties will include the full range of software testing responsibilities in association with delivering small, medium and large change within ATM payments and financial services.
This position works typical hours, however, there may be a need for occasional after hours and weekend work in periods of high demand. The primary focus of this position will be UK staff and operations, but this position will be part of an international IT team providing global support. This is a great opportunity for an experienced test professional within the software development and test team at Cennox.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation of test plans and test completion reports
- The ability to perform analysis on specification documents and requirements documentation for the creation of test scenarios
- RTM creation and maintenance
- Provides specialist testing and subject matter knowledge in the testing of solutions for self-service/ATM/MFD scenarios
- Expert knowledge of JIRA to be able to create Test Cases in JIRA/X-Ray and excel for each release
- Execution of Test Cases as per scoped
- Daily defect reporting on executed Test Cases, when requested
- Inputs into Test Raids when required
- Responsible for the daily management of defects raised (including Triage and integration with 3
rd party defect management systems) across all Phases of testing
- Responsible for management and communication to and from defects raised by end customer or third party defects.
- Responsible for ongoing defect metrics, as and when requested by Software development Manager/Project Manager in support of delivery decisions.
- To provide execution metric data to feed into any daily dashboard reporting across test phases, releases or ad hoc requests.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Direct experience of working as a test professional within an ATM Self service team
- Experience of working with small, medium, and large-scale projects in payments and self-service technologies
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and have an analytical mindset
- Excellent skills in JIRA, Confluence and X-Ray
- Comprehensive understanding of ATM transaction flows and messaging, including transaction processing standards and ISO8583 message structure
- Comprehensive understanding of multi-vendor hardware in the ATM/Self Service field
- Exposure to automation tools such as Versatest, Iliad etc
- Proven ability to write test governance documentation including test plans, test completion reports
- Comprehensive understanding of structured defect management process
- Exposure to VISA, LINK and Mastercard changes, certifications and compliance within the self-service field.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently in test execution
- Good team player
