Summary
The Regional Product Marketing Manager supports product strategy execution and go‑to‑market readiness for the Cengage Higher Education product portfolio.
This role takes market insights, customer needs, and product inputs and turns them into clear, locally relevant messaging and enablement assets.
Reporting to the regional marketing leader, this role works closely with the central Product Marketing group on core positioning, messaging frameworks, and go‑to‑market approach.
It plays a meaningful role in adapting global strategies for regional markets while representing regional needs, insights, and opportunities back into global teams.
What you’ll do here
- Support regional go‑to‑market readiness and product launches by coordinating messaging, enablement assets, and timelines across regional sales and marketing teams - notably for locally published products.
- Translate global product positioning and messaging frameworks into compelling, regionally relevant value propositions aligned to local curricula, buyer needs, pricing models, and market dynamics.
- Assess regional and customer needs, competitive landscape, and local regulatory or adoption considerations to build product positioning, roadmap communication, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Deliver structured collection and synthesis of voice‑of‑customer, voice‑of‑field insights and market-informed inputs from regional markets to support messaging, enablement materials, and launch readiness.
- Work with global product marketing and editorial teams to shape global positioning, launch planning, lifecycle strategy, and product roadmap priorities.
- Partner with global product marketing and regional sales to support the creation and maintenance of sales enablement tools, including product demos, one‑pagers, pricing narratives, and outbound messaging.
- Own and maintain regional product messaging across regional marketing channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with both regional priorities and global product strategy.
- Drive regional industry recognition through relevant awards, sponsorships, certifications, trade shows, and hosted events or webinars.
